Though I’m dubious of anything the Catholic Church have got to say, I quite agree to a point that digital friends are no substitute for in-the-flesh ones. Being an avid user of Facebook (yes, I can hear the hecklers ‘hypocrite’ ) I can see it’s advantages as far as keeping in touch with long distance buddys, promoting events and birthdays e.t.c but just reading your mates status in order to follow what their doing and never actually giving them a call or meeting up with them is just plain lazy
