Whether I’m using basic editing packages such as Apple’s iMovie or the more in depth Final Cut Pro I believe the essence of a good edit comes down to the timing and cuts you make within the timeline. Titling and transitions are equally as important and for a more professional touch I prefer to use a mixture of Adobe Photoshop & After Effects to get the right effect I’m going for.
