In this portfolio album I’ve dug out and edited some existing photographs from Huanglong, National park in Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, China, that have not featured on the site before.

Huanglong is known for its colorful pools formed by calcite deposits as well as virgin forests, snow-capped peaks, waterfalls and hot springs. After a very early morning flight from Xi’an I arrived at the small Jiuzhaigou airport where everyone who was on my flight proceeded to gear up with mountain gear ready for the cold crisp air of the area.
Myself and some Malaysians who were also on my flight haggled a taxi driver for the day to take us to Huanglong and then onto my final destination of Jiuzhaigou.
